230GSM Heavyweight Tee
This is the shirt the industry won't make anymore.
A heavyweight tee built the old way: 230 grams per square meter of 100% cotton. That's roughly double the fabric of a fast-fashion tee. Pick it up and you'll feel the difference immediately — it has weight, structure, and presence. It doesn't cling. It doesn't go see-through in the sun. It doesn't become a rag in eight months.
Here's what's NOT in it:
- No polyester. Not 5%, not “a touch of spandex for stretch.” Zero. Plastic doesn't belong against your skin.
- No “wrinkle-free” formaldehyde resin. This shirt can wrinkle, because it's real fabric. Hang it damp or give it two minutes with a steamer.
- No mystery blends. The label says 100% cotton because it is 100% cotton. That's the entire CottonTruth promise.

Most tees today run 130–180 GSM — thin, light, and designed for a season. 230 GSM is heavyweight territory: a denser knit that resists pilling, holds its shape wash after wash, drapes instead of clings, and gets softer with every wear instead of falling apart. Buy it once. Wear it for years.
Over a 5-year lifespan, one heavy cotton tee costs less per year than the “cheap” $10 shirt you'll replace three times, and it never once sheds plastic into your water.

Care: cold wash, hang dry. That's it. Expect it to soften and mold to you over the first month — that's what real cotton does.
